Uniqueness

Names of building blocks and attributes must be unique within their scope.

Uniqueness means:

• case insensitive

• accent sensitive

Building blocks

Names of building blocks must be unique within each building block type.

":" symbol is not permitted as it is used in hierarchical names as a separator.

Attributes

Names of attributes must be unique within LUY.

Reserved names

Some names are predefined in LUY and therefore cannot be used as names of building block types or attributes.

UTF8 limitation

There is UTF8 limitation on the database side affecting all text and rich text properties in LUY. No Unicode supplementary character is stored in the LUY database.

Such characters are:

• Mathematical alphanumeric symbols

• Musical symbols

• Gothic

• Old italic

• Supplemental symbols and pictographs, emoji

• Supplemental Arrows-C

• Other, not commonly used symbols
