In this chapter, we provide you with information that will be especially important if you are setting up LUY for the very first time, but also if you would like to make changes in the configuration later on (such as user, role and right management, email notifications and customizations of LUY etc.).

LUY comes as software as a service in the cloud or as on-premise, i.e., locally installed in your environment.

If you are using LUY as a cloud service, you do not have to worry about the installation procedures and updates/upgrades since the LUY team will take care of everything for you. If you are using LUY as an on-premise tool, you will find everything you need in this chapter.
