This page outlines the update process for your existing Docker setup.
If you want to update from an existing on-premise installation to the LUY Docker version 7.6.0,

Prerequisites
This guide is meant specifically to upgrade Docker LUY from release 7.5.1 to 7.6.
Before starting the upgrade, please check the system requirements on the Prerequisites page.
Reuse the current configuration
Before starting, we strongly recommend creating a complete backup of your entire LUY database
and the application files.
The Docker compose file from the previous LUY version is no longer applicable.
Please open the luy-compose.yml file for version 7.6.0 and enter the settings of your current Docker configuration. Ensure including all relevant settings such as database configuration, authentication methods used, and any adjusted or additional files or properties.

In version 7.6.0, luy-auth.properties files can no longer be used. Please refer to the page https://doc-luy.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/help/pages/11829408/How+to+run+LUY+WIP#Authentication-Scheme to transfer your current configuration to the YML files provided.

If you have a modified server.xml file for Tomcat, please note that it needs to be updated as well.
LUY now runs with Tomcat Version 10, so adjustments might be necessary due to changes in compatibility.
After completing the update, please recreate the search index in LUY via “Administration” → ”System” (see here https://doc-luy.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/help/pages/24182813/System+settings#Full-text-search ).
