The LUY meta model defines the structure and interrelations of your data while offering flexible options for managing it efficiently. Whether you're entering data manually, using LUY’s best practice meta model for structured organization, or customizing it to specific business needs, LUY enables seamless updates, lifecycle enrichment with KPIs, and meaningful linkage of isolated data points.

LUY enhances data transparency and supports informed decision-making throughout the organization by making relationships and dependencies visible across domains such as business processes, units, capabilities, and products.

The “Meta model” structure view is dynamically generated based on the logged-in user’s permissions and the applied customization settings.

Meta model customizing

The metamodel theme can be changed via LUY “Administration” > “Customizing” under the “Design” tab. Detailed steps for changing the metamodel theme can be found here.

Navigating the meta model

For each building block type and business mapping, a table view is available, providing a smooth and clear overview of the existing elements. For a more detailed examination of a specific element, the single element view can be utilized.
