July 2025 release
July 2025
This month's LUY release is primarily focused on foundational upgrades and lays a solid technical foundation for future developments, though it might seem lacking in visible changes. We have completed a significant upgrade to our framework and have successfully prepared key backend components. This results in better performance for LUY and is critical groundwork for exciting new features arriving in the next LUY releases.
That said, we still snuck in a few improvements to make your experience smoother and more accessible, including a redesigned report overlay and clearer error hints.
1. Improvements
LUY Nova
Redesigned "open report" overlay for better usability
We’ve given the "open report" overlay a fresh, modern look. The design introduces a semi-transparent background and a centered layout, improving clarity and consistency across the interface. We updated the displayed columns based on feedback from our customers. This update makes it easier to find the right report at a glance.Icons added to error hints
We've added an icon to each error hint to improve readability and accessibility, especially for users with color vision deficiency. This makes it easier to recognize and differentiate error states, improving the overall experience when editing attributes, which in turn simplifies troubleshooting.
2. Limitations
LUY Nova mainly introduces read only features and some basic edit possibilities. These features will be expanded on in the upcoming releases.
There are certain areas that are not yet accessible in LUY Nova, such as some diagrams, the dashboard, some administration and integration settings. For now, you’ll need to use LUY Classic to use those. Our release notes will, of course, feature any new addition to LUY Nova in the future.
