September 2025 release

September 2025

This release sees LUY Nova take another step forward in terms of usability and modelling efficiency. Relation attributes for business mappings can now be edited directly in the table view, and creating relations and building block elements is now easier thanks to clearer dialogues.

1. New features

1.1 Edit relation attributes in table view

You can now edit attributes for relations, including business mappings, directly in LUY Nova’s table view. There's no need to jump between views anymore. Editing is now seamless, whether you access business mappings via their dedicated table or as attributes in a table-in-table in other building block's table view, provided you have the necessary permissions.

Editing business mapping attributes in other tables is a first for LUY, as it was never available in Classic in this form.

1.2 Add new relations directly from the single element view

You can now add new relations to an element directly from the single element view. Clicking the new 'Add relation' button opens a context-aware dialogue that allows you to search for and filter valid elements based on your permissions.

Certain types of relation such as information flows, self-relations and business mappings are excluded for now, but will become available in the next releases.

1.3 Rapid element creation with “Create another”

Creating multiple elements just got faster. The 'Create another' checkbox in the element creation dialogue enables users to start creating the next element immediately after saving one, without having to reopen the dialogue manually.

2. Bugs

LUY Nova:

  • Fixed an issue where the "Last change responsibility" attribute in the single element view showed "Not assigned" instead of the correct user.

  • Fixed an issue in the single element view where fields such as description and version were not updated when navigating between elements via URL change.

  • Fixed a display issue where business mapping relation attributes in the single element view were not rendered correctly unless they were already visible on the initial load.

3. Important to consider

  • Relation attributes are editable only in the table view. Editing them in the single element view is coming soon.

  • Adding relations to information flows and self-relations are not yet available in the new frontend but will be addressed in future updates.

  • Some users may see greyed-out buttons or tooltips when attempting unsupported relation types – these are intentionally included to prepare for upcoming features.
