With this release, Assignments are now available to all Cloud customers. Assignments help organizations keep their data up to date through structured update workflows, clear ownership, and guided collaboration between assignment creators and assignees.
This release also delivers major enhancements to the Assignments experience, including email notifications and reminders, assignment copying and deletion, a dedicated Assignment Details page, improved assignment creation and completion workflows, and significant performance, usability, and reliability improvements. In addition, we resolved several issues across assignments and information flow diagrams.
1. New features
1.1 Assignments for structured data update workflows
Assignments help organizations keep their data up to date by allowing users to request and track data updates from responsible users directly within LUY. Assignments automatically determine assignees based on configured responsibility attributes and provide full transparency into who is responsible for updating each element.
The feature provides a guided assignment creation workflow with automatic draft saving, permission previews, configurable questions, customizable email notifications and reminders with email previews, and an integrated completion workflow directly in the table view. Assignment creators can monitor progress using the Assignment details page, copy existing assignments to save time, and delete assignments that are no longer needed. These capabilities enable teams to coordinate data maintenance more efficiently while ensuring accountability across large data sets.

2. Improvements

The assignment creation workflow has been refined with improved validation, clearer feedback, and better handling of draft saves, making assignment setup more reliable and user-friendly.

Users are now warned before changing the selected element type during assignment configuration, helping prevent accidental data loss.

Invalid assignees are now highlighted more clearly, including missing edit permissions or email addresses.

Assignment performance has been improved by reducing unnecessary loading of assignments and assignees, resulting in faster navigation and fewer redundant API requests.

A modern visual stepper has been added to the survey creation workflow, making it easier to navigate between completed configuration steps.
3. Bug fixes

Fixed an issue where today's date could be selected as the assignment due date, causing an error when proceeding to the next step.

Fixed an issue where draft assignments displayed "Not set" after reopening instead of the previously entered values.

Fixed an issue where saving a draft assignment could fail after changing the selected element type.

Fixed the assignment counter on the assigned to me tab for users without permission to create assignments.

Fixed an issue where the description attribute could only be edited by super administrators instead of all authorized users.

Fixed an issue where long markdown descriptions overflowed the read more preview dialog in the Table View.

Fixed an issue where changing an information flow diagram description incorrectly displayed the diagram name instead of the saved description.
4. Limitations
