With this release, we continue to enhance LUY Nova by improving data management directly within the table view, increasing dashboard flexibility, and expanding diagram availability.
A key highlight is the ability to delete relations, including business mappings, directly within the table view, enabling more efficient data maintenance. In addition, cluster diagrams are now available in LUY Nova, providing a more consistent and seamless analysis experience across diagram types.
1. New features
1.1 Delete relations directly in the table view
Users can now delete direct relations, self-relations, and business mappings directly within the table view without needing to navigate away. By selecting related elements via checkboxes, actions such as delete or cancel become available, making data maintenance faster and more efficient.
To ensure transparency, confirmation dialogs and success or error messages provide clear feedback. When selecting a self-relation, the corresponding opposite self-relation is automatically selected as well, as long as the column is visible.
1.2 Delete business mappings directly in the business mapping table view
Users can now delete business mapping relations directly within the business mapping table view, making it easier to clean up outdated or incorrect data. Selecting a relation activates a contextual toolbar that displays the number of selected items and provides quick access to delete or cancel actions.
The deletion follows the same workflow as in the single element view, including a confirmation dialog with an optional “don’t show again” setting. Success and error messages ensure clear and transparent feedback throughout the process.
1.3 Resize dashboard widgets vertically
Dashboard widgets can now be resized vertically in edit mode. Users can enlarge widgets for better readability or reduce them to save space, allowing for a more flexible and personalized dashboard layout.
1.4 Cluster diagram available in LUY Nova
Cluster diagrams can now be opened and viewed directly in LUY Nova. Users can access their saved or shared cluster diagrams, explore their content, and navigate to related elements, enabling seamless analysis within the new frontend.
2. Improvements
Improved alignment and spacing in single element view relation tables, resulting in a cleaner and more consistent layout.
The plugin API now exposes author information for building block changes. This allows plugins to identify who triggered a change and supports more flexible permission checks and customer-specific validation logic.
3. Bug fixes
Fixed an issue where business mapping relations in the table view were incorrectly aligned, leading to mismatched relation data.
Fixed an issue where Gantt charts could fail to load, save, or open due to permission-related errors.
Fixed an issue where the editor in the single element view relations list was partially inaccessible.
Fixed an issue where users could see and interact with the subscribe button without having the required permissions.
Fixed an issue where the edit dialog for business mapping relations in the single element view displayed an unnecessary transparent area that overlapped the page.
